News The website is consistent with Interreg publicity rules, dynamic and cms-based
open source, php, sql db, apache server, usability & accessibility compliant.

The user profiling defines 4 different roles or "status":
  • administrator (coordinator + component 5 leader)
  • partner
  • tester region
  • public user

The main objectives of the website are:
  • Disseminate results, guidelines, methodologies among as many regions as possible
  • Promote the taking-up of the benchmarking tool-kit by as many regions as possible
  • Promote awareness of a regional benchmarking perspective on Information Society and eEurope
  • Receive external validation about the methodology through feed-back collection from non-partner regions, in order to share UNDERSTAND results and approach.

The project website has been developed during the first months of work and will be completed with the web-based DB for uploading and comparing data from surveys by partner and also non-partner regions (provided they use the UNDERSTAND tool-kit). These two tools will be up and running for the whole duration of the project. The web-based DB will be hosted on the eris@ website even after the end of the project, as indicated in the attached Memorandum of Cooperation.
