Understand partners signed-off the updated UNDERSTAND HANDBOOK during their last meeting in Palma de Mallorca (July the 7th – 8th).
Partners (together with new-member regions) have been working for the last months on the METHODOLOGY HANDBOOK FINAL VERSION. The HANDBOOK FINAL VERSION was agreed by partners during the partners periodic meeting held in Balearic Island last July.
A pre-defined process has been followed in order to revise the handbook systematically and efficiently.
Firstly, ISEU, as component leader, distributed the agreed handbook "version 1" as baseline and a “change request form”. All changes to the handbook have been expressed upon this baseline.
Each domain was managed by a specific working group, joined by interested partners and new-member regions. Working group leaders have been collecting, storing and managing the change requests for their domain for the period running from April to the end of May. Each working group has selected the valid change requests through a joint work by the mailing list.
Finally, ISEU has collected the validated change requests from the working group leaders. ISEU produced a working version of the handbook to be circulated among partners, discussed and signed-off in Mallorca.
The HANDBOOK FINAL VERSION is now available for partners: the methodology will be followed for the second survey round, that is running now.
Non partner regions can join the project and use UNDERSTAND methodology described in the HANDBOOK: just sign the Memorandum of Cooperation to enter the project!
