The First Project Conference will be the Seminar "Regional Benchmarking of the Information Society and the UNDERSTAND operation: initial results, lessons learnt and open issues" and will take place on 17th March 2005, at the Committee of the Regions of the European Union (92/102 rue Montoyer - Brussels)
The conference is mainly aimed at the dissemination of the UNDERSTAND results to highlight the relevance and the potentiality of the benchmarking exercise so that to widen the territory and the number of Regions taking up the methodology.
The conference will also be an occasion to discuss the benchmarking issues and the related policy implications in order to fully exploit the operations results.
