The Understand project has been presented at the 14th Meeting of the Commission for Culture and Education, held in Brussels on 22 September 2004.
David Osimo, representative of the Lead Partner Emilia Romagna, presented the Understand project, between the presentation of the Draft Opinion on the Communication from the Commission on eEurope 2005 Action Plan; the Communication from the Commission on Science and Technology, the key to Europe’s future (Guidelines for future European Union policy to support research); the Communication from the Commission on eHealth (making healthcare better for European citizens: An action plan for a European e-Health Area); the Communication from the Commission on Connecting Europe at High Speed: National Broadband Strategies; the Proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council Creating the 'YOUTH IN ACTION' programme for the period 2007-2013; the Proposal for a decision of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing an integrated action programme in the filed of lifelong learning.
