The IANIS+ Working Group on “Indicators & Benchmarking, Monitoring & Evaluation, Financial Engineering” organises its first meeting in Brussels on the 14th and 15th of Fabruary 2006.

 

Hessen Minister of Economy Dr. Rhiel opens the First 24h IT Conference in Frankfurt focusing on Understand results.

 

During the eris@ annual conference "BUILDING COMPETITIVE REGIONS - The Role of Innovation and ICTs in Transformation, Competitiveness, Employment & Cohesion" that will take place in Lille, France, on the 13th - 14th June 2005, two sessions will be dedicated to benchmarking.

 

The Understand-project will be presented at the cpnference on "ICT in regional development strategies" in the city of Härnösand on the 22nd of february.

 

The Understand project has been presented at the 14th Meeting of the Commission for Culture and Education, held in Brussels on 22 September 2004.

 

Understand has been presented at the Workshop "Measuring the information society: what, how, for whom and what", in the context of the 5th Annual Conference of the association of Internet Researchers (18 Sept 2004 - Brighton).

 

The Understand project will be presented during the INTERREG IIIC East Info-Day, in Krakow, Poland, on the 6th of September 2004.

 

On May the 24th a technical workshop on existing initiatives for benchmarking regions on information society took place in Bordeaux.
The workshop is not a one-off exercise, but the beginning of a lasting cooperation between projects.
